Healytix Lumen · Early Access

Find cancer earlier, in data you already have.

Lumen reads routine blood tests, pathology slides, screening photos and CT scans for early signs of cancer. Every flag comes with its evidence, and a clinician makes the call. Built for hospitals in India and the United States.

What Lumen reads

Routine blood tests

7 CBC results over 26 months

What the clinician sees

For review

Pattern linked to colorectal cancer

Why it was flagged

  • Hemoglobin 13.8 → 11.6 g/dL over 14 months
  • MCV 88 → 79 fL in the same period
  • Platelets up 38% from the patient's own baseline

Suggested: consider FIT or colonoscopy

Why it matters

In India and the US, too many cancers are found late.

Early signs are often already in the record: a slowly falling blood count, a small lesion on a scan taken for something else, a patch seen at a screening camp. Lumen is being built to help clinicians notice them sooner.

One platform, six kinds of data

Detection where cancer first shows up.

Each module works on its own, and all of them share one patient record, so a finding in one place is seen alongside everything else.

Early access

Lumen Signal

Routine blood tests

Designed to read years of CBC and chemistry results for each patient and spot slow trends linked to colorectal, blood and liver cancers. A single result can look normal when the trend is not.

For: Physicians and lab directors

Early access

Lumen Path

Digitized pathology slides

Designed to highlight tumor regions on biopsies, help pre-screen colorectal cancer for MSI, and support consistent HER2 (including HER2-low), Ki-67, ER and PR scoring.

For: Pathologists

Early access

Lumen Oral

Phone photos of the mouth

Aims to help health workers and dentists screen for oral cancer and pre-cancer on a phone, even offline, and follow each referral through to a specialist.

For: Health workers, dentists, oral medicine

Early access

Lumen Cervix

Cervix photos and Pap or LBC slides

Aims to make visual screening after acetic acid more consistent in primary care, and to help labs prioritise cytology slides.

For: Gynecologists, screening programs, labs

Early access

Lumen CT

Routine chest and abdomen CT

Designed to take a second look at scans taken for other reasons, for early pancreatic, lung, liver or kidney findings the report may not mention.

For: Radiologists

Planned

Lumen Breast

Breast ultrasound

Support for handheld breast ultrasound where mammography is hard to reach.

For: Breast clinics, screening programs

Who it's for

For every team that sees cancer first.

Cancer centres

One view of every early signal across a patient's tests, slides and scans.

Pathology labs

Help with the growing load of biomarker scoring and biopsy review.

Radiology teams

A quiet second look at routine scans, flagged only when it matters.

Screening programs

Phone-based oral and cervical screening that follows every referral.

How it works

From a new result to a confirmed finding.

  1. 1

    Connect

Lumen is designed to link to your lab system, PACS, slide scanners and records, so teams keep working in the tools they know.

  2. 2

    Read

Each new test, slide or scan is read in the context of the patient's history, not on its own.

  3. 3

    Flag with evidence

Findings are raised with the trends, regions or slices behind them, at a sensitivity your hospital sets.

  4. 4

    Clinician decides

The doctor accepts, edits or rejects every finding. Nothing reaches the record without a clinician.

One patient. Every signal. One view.

A blood trend, a slide and a scan can each look minor on their own. Lumen is designed to bring them together on one patient timeline, so the oncologist, pathologist and radiologist see the same picture at the same time.

Earning trust, step by step

Checked on your patients before it goes live.

New AI should earn its place in a clinic. Lumen is designed to be introduced carefully, with your clinicians in control at every step.

  1. 1

Tested on your own data first

Before anyone relies on it, Lumen is meant to be checked against your hospital's past, confirmed cases.

  2. 2

    Runs quietly before it speaks

It can run in the background and be compared with real outcomes before findings are shown to doctors.

  3. 3

Switched on one service at a time

Start with the department that is ready. Expand only when your clinicians are confident.

  4. 4

    Watched after go-live

Every override is recorded, so your team can see how Lumen performs month by month.

Our commitments

What Lumen will and won't do.

Detection AI is only useful if clinicians can trust it. These limits are part of how Lumen is built.

It will

  • Show the evidence behind every flag
  • Leave every diagnosis to a qualified clinician
  • Keep patient data inside your hospital
  • Refuse to score images or data unlike what it was trained on
  • Make it easy to pause any module at any time

It won't

  • Diagnose cancer or prescribe treatment
  • Remove a case from normal review
  • Send identifiable patient data outside your hospital
  • Go live without your clinicians' approval
Built for India and the United States

One platform. Two very different challenges.

In India, the biggest gap is reaching people early enough. In the US, it is giving specialists a second look across a growing volume of slides and scans. Lumen is being designed for both from day one.

India

Reach people earlier, from the city hospital to the village camp.

  • Oral and cervical screening on an everyday Android phone, even without internet
  • Interfaces planned in English, Hindi and regional languages
  • Designed around ABDM health IDs and the DPDP Act
  • Works with the PDF and scanned reports many labs still use

United States

A second look on every slide and scan, without adding to the workload.

  • Pathology support for busy labs facing more biomarkers per case
  • A background second read of routine CT for incidental early findings
  • Built on HL7 FHIR and DICOM, with HIPAA-ready deployment
  • Results return to the PACS, LIS and EHR your teams already use
Made for hospitals

Runs where your patient data already lives.

On your infrastructure

Designed to run on-premise or in your private cloud, so slides, scans and records stay where they are.

HIPAA, DPDP and ABDM ready

Built with the privacy rules of India and the US in mind, alongside the rest of the Healytix platform.

Audit trail for every result

Each finding is kept with its inputs and the clinician's decision, ready for review.

Off switch for each module

Your clinical safety lead can pause any module at any time, without waiting on us.

Lumen runs on the Healytix Platform. Relay brings in lab, imaging and pathology data, Fabric holds the longitudinal record, Sage grounds case summaries in cited evidence, and Pulse powers cohort analytics.

Questions

What hospitals ask us about Lumen.

Something else on your mind? Write to contact@healytix.com.

Does Lumen diagnose cancer?

No. Lumen is designed to flag findings for a clinician to review, with the evidence behind each one. Diagnosis and treatment decisions stay with your doctors.

What data does Lumen use?

Data most hospitals already collect: blood test results, digitized pathology slides, routine CT scans, and photos taken during oral or cervical screening.

Does our patient data leave the hospital?

Lumen is designed to run on-premise or in your private cloud, so patient records stay in your environment.

Is Lumen approved by regulators?

Not yet. Lumen is in early access and is not approved for clinical diagnosis. We are building it to medical device standards and will share regulatory updates as they happen.

We don't scan our slides yet. Can we still use Lumen?

Yes. The blood and CT modules work with data most hospitals already hold digitally. Pathology support can be added once slide scanning is in place.

How is Lumen different from other cancer AI?

Most tools do one task on one kind of data. Lumen is designed to bring blood tests, slides, screening photos and scans together on one platform and one patient timeline, for hospitals in both India and the US.

How can our organisation get involved?

We are looking for early partners: cancer centres, hospitals, labs, screening programs and researchers. Write to us and we will set up a conversation.

Help us find cancer earlier.

Lumen is open to early partners in India and the US.

  • Cancer centres and hospitals: try Lumen on your workflows
  • Pathology and diagnostic labs: help shape Lumen Path and Signal
  • Clinicians and researchers: tell us what would help most
  • Screening programs and funders: explore oral and cervical screening
